Spruha Joshi

Spruha Joshi (born 13 October 1989) is an Indian television, film, and theatre actress, who works in the Marathi film and television industry. She began her acting career with a brief role in the 2004 film MaayBaap, when she was still in school. She got her first leading role in Moraya (2011).〔 She started her TV career in a children show "De Dhamal". Her first noticeable role on TV was of Uma Band in Agnihotra. She was later seen in the role of Kuhu in Eka Lagnachi Dusri Goshta.〔 In Unch Maaza Zoka, she played the role of Ramabai Ranade, which made her very popular. She became a household name after playing the role of Advocate Isha Deshmukh in Eka Lagnachi Teesri Goshta .

==Early life and background==
Spruha Joshi was born on 13 October 1989 in Mumbai. Her father works in a Trimax Company and her mother is a house wife. Her younger sister Kshipra Joshi is a sportswoman. Spruha completed her schooling from Balmohan Vidyamandir School, Dadar, and then graduated from Ruia College. When she was in Ruia College, she performed in the award-winning play 'Ga Ma Bha Na'. This play was based on popular Marathi writer Milind Bokil's novel ''Shala''.
